In "Where Heaven and Earth Meet - Week 2," we confront the reality that joy and union with God are actively opposed by the kingdom of darkness. Drawing from Genesis 6:5-6, Matthew 2:1-23, and Revelation 12:1-6, we see the spiritual battle surrounding the birth of Jesus and its implications for our lives. Though the enemy seeks to destroy, God is our Hero and Rescuer, pursuing us with unshakable love. This sermon challenges us to adopt a “spiritual war worldview” and empowers us to identify and overcome the obstacles that hinder our relationship with God.
