Main Point:  Reclaim the victory and power to us by Jesus.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil.  He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 

1 Peter 5:8           

Spiritual warfare – the conflict in the invisible realm that affects what we’re going through in the physical realm. 

Point 1:  Prayer is calling upon heaven to intervene in the ____(physical)#2 by spiritual means to change the outcome of the physical.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him.

Matthew 28:18

Point 2:  We fight back by putting on the armor of God.

For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.

Colossians 1:13

You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away.  Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.  He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.  In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities.  He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

Colossians 2:13-15

Point 3:  When Jesus disarmed Satan, His victory became our new reality.
