Starting with the first man, Adam, God laid down the principle that we’re better together. So, He created Eve, and in doing so created marriage and family. Those of us who know Him as Savior are placed into His family when we are born into it by trusting Christ. Jesus called it the “new birth”.
That family consists of all believers around the world. But, to bring it closer to “home” Jesus created the “church” to be our family of faith. And it’s within the local church that we live and work together to accomplish His plans.
