Main Point: Being in constant communion with God is the antidote for chaos
Point 1: We live in a supernatural world.
There is a divine ability, divine supernatural strength available to believers and it comes from Jesus.
The supernatural power from Jesus gives people the ability to stand in the face of supernatural evil attack.
This world is produced and sustained by the supernatural.
Point 2: Believers are to rely daily on supernatural sustenance.
Armor has one job and that is to deflect attacks.
The forces of evil
- operate by fear
- play to our insecurities
- rejoice in chaos
- drive diversions
The Holy Spirit uses words in the Bible to protect us, and guide us in the day to day battles.
John 10:10 The thief comes to steal kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and have it abundantly.
Point 3: Moment by moment conversation with God is the path to supernatural sustenance.
Converse with God in all the moments of the day and in all the events of the day.
Pray for all who believe in Jesus for eternal life.
Application points:
1. Start each day with 10 minutes of silence
2. Pick 5 times of prayer each day
a. In the morning
i. Tell Him what you have going that day
ii. Tell Him how you feel about it
iii. Ask for His counsel
b. At the end of the day
i. Tell Him what happened during your day
ii. Tell Him how you felt about it
iii. Ask for His perspective
iv. Listen for His response
Thank the Lord it’s not up to us, He is here. He is God, and He has given Himself to us if we would but be still an listen.
