Worship doesn't just happen on Sunday morning, but it's a great place to start, and loving God the way He intends us to is impossible without being a part of a local church body. Nags Head Church may be different from what you may be used to experiencing at church. Our Sunday morning gatherings reflect our belief that God loves it when we celebrate what He is doing in our lives and in our world. Freedom in worship, contemporary music, fresh coffee, a safe and clean nursery, an exciting kids church, teaching built on the truths of God and a sense of belonging all provide an opportunity to prepare our hearts for the next step.
Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."
(John 10:10)
We believe that church is meant to be fun and meaningful, and that people are more likely to connect with God's offer of new and abundant life when they feel welcome and comfortable and free of distractions. Sunday mornings at NHC reflect the culture of the Outer Banks. You'll typically find us dressed in jeans and flip flops, and not a Sunday goes by that we don't have lots of local guests and vacationing tourists, so you won't be alone. Come early to grab a cup of coffee and a donut and be sure to check out the view of the ocean from our lobby balcony. No matter your past or your place on the journey of life, you are always welcome. NHC isn't for everyone, but we welcome you to come and check us out, especially if you're looking for something different and authentic.
Both of our worship gatherings are identical. For more information about Sunday mornings at NHC, EMAIL US.
